Library Volunteers

Tunkhannock Public Library has a group of volunteers that supports, enhances and promotes the work of the library.

Our volunteers contribute an appreciable amount of time, and sometimes money, to the library to service our patrons, manage our resources, and support public programming, community outreach, and staff development.

Our volunteers help raise funds by organizing and/or participating in many events including the Annual Book Sale and our Ladies Bingo night. They also assist in the operation of the Coopers Corner book store in the rear of the library.

Apply and Become a Volunteer:

We welcome new volunteers to become involved in our activities. The opportunities are endless. Individuals who volunteer their time and talents can make a valuable contribution to the library and the community. You may be interested in employment opportunities as well.
